Dr. Assi is a leading expert in implant dentistry and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology. A graduate of the prestigious Misch Implant Institute, he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine from Nova Southeastern University, where he also completed a postgraduate residency specializing in oral surgery and prosthodontics.

• Academic Roles: Co-Chairman of the Atlantic Coast Dental Research Clinic’s Oral Implantology program and faculty member for the AAID Implant MaxiCourse and Misch Implant Institute.
• Clinical Instruction: Clinical instructor for DentalXP and founder of the Alpha Study Club.
• Leadership: Vice President of the AAID (Southern District) and examiner for the American Board of Oral Implantology.
• Research: Published author and editorial reviewer for the Journal of Oral Implantology.

Clinical Focus & Philanthropy

In his private practice in Coral Springs, Florida, Dr. Assi focuses on Full Arch Implant Reconstruction and advanced digital workflows. He shares his expertise globally through lectures and surgical training in Sarajevo and Mexico.

Driven by a desire to give back, he actively participates in the Smile Veteran program and various international dental missions to provide care for those in need.

Personal Life

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Assi enjoys photography, cooking, music, and traveling with his wife, Dr. Maya Georges Assi, and their three children.

With the belief that a smile unlocks an individual’s full potential in life, Dr. Maya Georges Assi has made her professional goal to study, understand, and replicate to the best of her abilities the beauty of a confident smile. Understanding the health of the oral cavity as it relates to the rest of the body is a key factor in treatment planning and open discussion with her patients. She truly enjoys connecting the dots between the present condition of her patient’s teeth and gums to issues such as their gut health, sleep patterns, breathing tendencies, specific dietary habits, the dental products they use, and more. Whether it involves Invisalign® to create a more graceful bite, Digital Smile Design (DSD) to make a smile match a patient’s face and personality, or rejuvenating aged teeth with Bioclear, Dr. Georges Assi always makes her patients’ well-being her number one priority. Her ability to speak English, French, Spanish, Creole, and Arabic allows her to make her patients feel at ease and well taken care of in the dental chair.

Dr. Georges Assi is a proud graduate of the Nova Southeastern College of Dental Medicine and an active member of the American Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Clear Aligners, Academy of Biomimetic Dentistry, and International Academy of Oral Medicine and Oral Toxicology. In addition, she is certified in ozone therapy, a Gold Plus Preferred Invisalign provider, a certified DSD provider, and a certified Bioclear provider. She continues to push the envelope by utilizing top-of-the-line technology to treat her patients. From digital scanning and 3D printing to in-house milling, ozone therapy, and beyond, Dr. Georges Assi always encompasses a traditional, functional, and biomimetic approach to modern dentistry. Truly loving her craft, she continues to learn and elevate the highest quality approach to treating all her patients.

With over 25 years of experience in the dental field, I have truly found my passion in helping transform lives through healthy, confident smiles. Throughout my career, I have remained committed to staying current with the latest advancements in dentistry, particularly the growing understanding of the powerful connection between oral health and overall wellness. I believe dentistry is not just about teeth, it’s about improving quality of life.

Born in Queens, New York, and proudly rooted in my Colombian heritage, I value family, culture, and community. I am happily married and the proud parent of two wonderful children. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy traveling, creating lasting memories with my family, and spending quality time with good friends.
